If you are considering Zoom counselling we have a few hints to assist in making the process simple and convenient.

Choosing Zoom counselling makes sense for so many reasons

You may opt for a Zoom appointment because:

  • You are able to access counselling appointments quickly and safely in the changing Covid world

  • You can find a convenient appointment time that suits your life and situation

  • You are unable to physically get to a clinic location

  • You are living in a remote or rural location

  • You would prefer to have counselling from the comfort of your own home

  • Family constraints (children, care of disabled family members or of elderly parents) limit your ability to access counselling in a clinic situation

  • It just suits you better

About Zoom Counselling Appointments

Zoom is a nationally recognised application and is used worldwide in both professional and personal environments.

Zoom may be accessed via tablet, computer, or a smart phone.

Steps to start the process

  1. Prior to your appointment time, your counsellor will set up initial email contact with you through Zoom.

  2. You will need to download Zoom, which you can do here.

  3. We recommend that you consider your surroundings in preparation for your appointment. It is important that you are in a comfortable, private space where you will not be disturbed. Consider your space as a therapeutic setting.

  4. To arrange your Zoom counselling appointment, text, or phone us, and we will contact you to assist you with the process.
